I'm drawn by the Dutch masters connection. . .woman at window, oh my she's a doll-- then drawn in to this world within a world within a world. Blue skies at the end of it all? Just the right amount of creepy. Layers of creepy. Yes! I mean this as a compliment, of course. What did Dali's friends say about his work? is this somehow in context of the Now? How can we say it's not a commentary on the American family and the American home? But we'll leave that to the Others. It's best to be smug about these things. You didn't read it here.
